The Hackathon Pivot
After our hackathon, we broke down our original idea and faced the real issue: discovery is broken on campus. How do you find your people in a sea of students? The underground music scene? That perfect study group? We realized every feature needed to solve this core problem - making it easier to discover and connect.
The Deeper Insight
Through deeper thought, we understood it wasn't just about consolidating apps. Every feature of Twine emerged from solving isolation: REMI for academic support, Circles for intimate study spaces in massive lecture halls, Events to surface hidden campus gems. We're solving the paradox of feeling alone in a crowd.
