Question 1

What is Twine?

Accepted Answer

Twine is the free app for your campus. It shows what is on around you, who is in your classes, and the circles you can join.

It is live at Central Michigan, Mid Michigan College and Florida State, and it is on iPhone for now.

Question 2

How do I prove I am a student?

Accepted Answer

You sign up with your school email address. We send a code to that address and you enter it to finish.

That is how everyone on Twine is a real student at your school.

Question 3

What are circles?

Accepted Answer

A circle is a group for a class, a club or anything else. Each one has channels, polls, files and roles.

You can join the ones your campus has made, or start your own.

Question 4

How do event check ins work?

Accepted Answer

Whoever is running the event shows a QR code at the door. You scan it in Twine and you are checked in.

The organiser sees who came without taking a list by hand.

Question 5

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

You can delete your account from the web, for Twine, for Remi, or for both at once.

You can also do it inside either app, from Profile.

Question 6

Can I keep Twine after I graduate?

Accepted Answer

Your account stays yours after you graduate. You keep what you posted and the circles you were in.

Some parts of a campus are only for people still enrolled there, so those close to you when your school does.
